First up a teaser for the returning Top Thrill 2 (formally Top Thrill Dragster) suggests it will be ready to go again after a disastrous debut last year, where it only operated for a short time before closing for train designs to be adjusted. The original ride was delivered by Intamin in 2003, but has been reimagined by Zamperla.
Once reopen It will recover the crown for the world’s tallest and fastest coaster, if only for a brief period, before the debut of Falcon’s Flight in Saudi Arabia in late 2025/early 2026.
The truly new ride at Cedar Point for 2025 is Siren’s Curse. The 160-foot tall Vekoma tilt coaster doesn’t immediately stand out amongst the park’s world-class lineup , however many are hoping the smart layout and breathtaking tilt moment could make this a surprise hit.
